1Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Eze 7:16 ¶ But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.

Jer 44:28 Yet a small number that escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah, and all the remnant of Judah, that are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose words shall

Isa 19:24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:

Isa 11:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

In Isaiah 51 The LORD foretold of what the Jews would be saying as the contended with Him about how He brought them out of the bondage in Babylon.
The LORD set Cyrus a gentile king on the throne ruling the entire world. Cyrus defeated the great Babylonian empire. Cyrus was given the wealth that Babylon and decreed that the Jews should return to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple.
The Nation of Israel felt cheated out of being delivered by a gentile king instead of the strong arm of the LORD as were their ancestors when The LORD brought them out of Egypt. From Isaiah 51:10 Art thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over? We concluded they wanted their own parting of the sea before they would believe. This is one of the main reason the nation of Israel rejected the One spoken of in Chapter 52:13 to 53: 12 when He walked upon the Earth. Jesus did not conquer their enemies with His power or part a sea for them to escape. Contending once again with their Maker.

Zechariah 14:1 ¶ Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

Could this be the parting that will bring the nation of Israel to "see "The LORD's salvation. and turn to Him and stay upon Him only.

Could the Jews be fleeing the gentile nations, coming to what looked to them as a dead end (The valley of the shadow of death) sure to be destroyed. Does this remind you of the exodus from Egypt when Pharaoh's army was coming upon them by the banks of the Red Sea.

Ex 14:11 And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?
12 Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.
13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
