Of Israel
10:27 - Burden - of Assyria removed.
Isaiah 10:27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden
shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy
neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
That day - when the burden of the oppression after Assyria takes
Israel captive. - immediate future
That day - when the burden if finally and completely removed from
the shoulders of all of Israel -
The anointing is identified in Daniel 9:24 -
The anointing is seen: Baptism of Jesus - Matthew 3:16 (miracles)
Unto His death - Mark 14:8
This is the anointing removes the real burden on Israel’s shoulders.
Matthew 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
John 14:1 ¶ Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God,
believe also in me
What is the real burden on the shoulder of Israel
Read Deut 1:28 - 35
31 And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the LORD thy
God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye
went, until ye came into this place.
32 Yet in this thing ye did not believe the LORD your God,
The burden for Israel’s care was upon the shoulders of God. He
carried them through the wilderness.
Because they chose not to believe God they took the burden of their
survival upon their shoulders and disobeyed the Lord.
They chose not to believe God and survive by not obeying Him and by
not posses the land
Numbers 14:1-4 - Wanted to stay upon Egypt
Israel would have the burden of Assyria upon they because they would
not stay upon the Holy One Of Israel.
They came against Judah the tender plant
They came against Jerusalem - God’s Holy City
They were confederate Syria - They stayed upon Syria
Ahaz king of Judah chose to stay upon Assyria - for their survival
Isaiah 5:18 Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity,
and sin as it were with a cart rope:
Isaiah 30:12 Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye
despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and
stay thereon:
Isaiah 10:20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant
of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no
more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the
LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth
Ps 38:4 For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy
burden they are too heavy for me
Ps 55:22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee:
he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved
