Chapter 23 Part 2- The Burden Of
Tyre
Verses 15 - 18
In “That Day” Tyre and all it’s glory will be forgotten for seventy
years than revived to unite with the nations of the world in
fornication and idolatry. Tyre will once a again (through God’s
hand) corrupt the nations. Of the world. Tyre will again be a
wealthy city full of the world’ s merchandise
The number Seventy - seen in 60 verses.
Ge 4:24 If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and
sevenfold.
Ge 5:12 And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel: {Mahalaleel:

Ge 5:31 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and

Nu 11:16 ¶ And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men
of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the
people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle
of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee.
Nu 11:24 ¶ And Moses went out, and told the people the words of the
LORD, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and
set them round about the tabernacle.
Nu 11:25 And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and
took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy
elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them,
they prophesied, and did not cease.
Nu 31:32 And the booty, being the rest of the prey which the men of
war had caught, was six hundred thousand and seventy thousand and
five thousand sheep,

Isa 23:17 And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years,
that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire, and
shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the
face of the earth.
Jer 25:11 And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an
astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon
seventy years.
Jer 25:12 And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are
accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that
nation, saith the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the
Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations. {punish: Heb.

Jer 29:10 For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be
accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word
toward you, in causing you to return to this place.

times: but, Until seventy times seven.
Lu 10:1 ¶ After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also,
and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place,
whither he himself would come.
