Chapter 66 Part 2 - The Eternal Purpose of All Flesh & The Purpose Of he The Streets As Crystal

Chapter 66 Ends with an interesting picture of the New Heaven & New Earth
Verse 22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain
This verse answers a question Why LORD, why will you bring the gentiles before your people, why will all Jews be called Priest of the LORD and Levites? The eternality of the of the the new heaven and new earth is used to show the eternality on the seed of Abraham and the name of the Jews, being preserved and remaining separate from the gentile nations as God intended from the beginning of the nation of Israel. They will not become part of the gentiles or be replaced by the gentile nations as many teach today. We have seen that they will all be as Levites, priests (Isaiah 61:6 & 66:21), serving before the throne of The LORD, accepting the offerings of the Gentiles for ever..
.
Verse 23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
And tis this directly with verse 22 ans a continuation of the subject of verse 22. Every nation shall come to the new Jerusalem at regular times set by The LORD to worship before HIM. The LORD Himself declare that this will be. Every month, every Sabbath day, every Sabbath year everyone alive on the New Earth will come to worship before Him. The purpose of man from the creation of Adam was to offer worship The LORD. God's purpose for man will come to be. Amen.
Notice the term: all flesh. All flesh is seen as not referring to mankind but all animals upon the earth. (Genesis 6:17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.)
Could it be that even His creation, other than man will to acknowledge the Creator?

Verse 24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
The and ties this directly to verse 23 This may be one of the most puzzling verses in Isaiah and maybe the entire Bible. So when in doubt take it literally. After the new heaven and earth are made when those who come to worship before The LORD leave they will look upon the bodies of those who have transgresses against The LORD. Most think this is during the Millennial Kingdom the carcasses are those left after Armageddon but consider Revelation 19:17-21 with Ezekiel 39:17 these carcasses will be devoured by the birds and beasts.
*1) Where are these carcasses - for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched identifies where they are - See Mark 9:43-49 - the place where the worm does not die and the fire never is put out, never stops burning yet never destroying. The worms never stop gnawing but never devour. The eternal Hell that is thrown into the lake of fire Revelation 14:10-11; 19: 20, 20:10 -
Isa 33:14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? These must be special carcases that can provide fuel for a fire but never burned up and nourishment for worms but never devoured by them.
John 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

*2) How can they be seen - This answer may be found in the following verses
Re 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full
of eyes before and behind.
Re 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his
mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
Re 21:18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
Re 21:21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were
transparent glass.
There is nothing that needs to be hidden from those who come to worship before the LORD. There will be no secrets in the new heaven and earth. There
will be nothing that will hide the glory of the One sitting on the throne from all to see.
Everything will be open and clearly seen before His throne. Could the street and sea of glass allow all to look directly in to the eternal Hell?
*3) The abhorrence - Image seeing a body on fire but never being destroyed. These carcasses are the bodies of the living souls of those in the constant
eternal torment of Hell. Read Revelation 20:10-15 - Daniel 12:1-3 Acts 24:15 The resurrection of the dead who never believed God or accepted Christ.
They receive the sentence of being in the lake of fire for eternity. At this resurrection could they receive bodied that fire can burn but never destroy and
ones that worms can chew upon but never consume? This sight alone would be abhorrent.
But consider this all flesh will be coming before the One Isaiah saw in chapter 6 sitting high and lifted up and the One John saw in Revelation 4:3. Could
they be abhorred at the thought that those they see in Hell never acknowledged, but hated The One who they came to worship?
Pr 24:24 He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:
Le 26:30 And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you
Isaiah 66: 3: . . . Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
What a change in attitude. This world does not abhor those who stand against The LORD, but actually holds those who desire to serve Him in derision.
In the new heaven and new earth all flesh shall hold those who have stood against the LORD in derision. What is the attitude of "modern Christianity" against those who proclaim The Truth? What is our attitude towards those who stand against The Truth?
Read John 5:2
Could they be abhorred at the thought that I could be there if it was not for the Grace of The One sitting on The Throne.
This is a true picture of The LORD's judgment and justice and also His matchless, wonderful grace.

I end the study of Isaiah with this thought - There is one God, The Maker and Redeemer of Israel and He is coming again to seek His vengeance. Our eternity is determined by how we respond to Him during the life He has given us. - By grace are you saved. By grace we are saved from the eternal torment and abhorrence of Hell.

Jeremiah 20:11 But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten. Jeremiah 23:40 And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.
Da 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Pr 9:18 But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.
Isa 5:14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
Eze 32:21 The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword.
Eze 32:27 And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell with their weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living

2Th 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
Joh 5:28-29 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
Mt 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: 12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
1Co 15:39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
Re 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
