Who was (and is) Isaiah really for?

Isaiah 1:1 states ¶ The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

Isaiah received his vision during the days of the four kings mentioned above. There is nothing about the reigns of Uzziah & Jothan. The events that were recorded during Ahaz and Hezekiah actually happened in front of Isaiah and were not prophesy.

The main prophesy Isaiah delivered to Ahaz and Hezekiah was: The LORD has pronounced woe upon Judah and Jerusalem because of  and there was coming an unavoidable 70 years of desolation at the hand of the Chaldean people of Babylon, It is described as their dieing in Isaiah 22:14. It is also about the comfort that would be offered through Cyrus after the 70 years would be fulfilled. (Ezra 1:1)

The reasons

Disobeyed God - did not allow the land to rest the seventh year (there were 70 of there sabbath years over a span of 490 years) (Between King Saul And the captivity) [See Leviticus 25:3-5 & 2Chronicles 36:21]

Ahaz chose not to believe the LORD and was not established (Isaiah 7:9)

Hezekiah showed the son of the Babylonian king all that The LORD had given him (claiming it as his gain). Babylon was taken into the secret places of Jerusalem (remember hamburger).

Uzziah's reign started somewhere around 787 B.C. Hezekiah died somewhere around 697 B.C.. Daniel 1:1 would have been around 606 B.C. All those who were alive during Isaiah's ministry died long before unavoidable the captivity began.

So who was the prophesy for?

Those individuals who were alive and chose to believe would be established in the LORD

Manasseh: Started as a wicked, wicked king but the last 20 years he reigned as a king who knew and believed the LORD He is God!

Josiah (Manasseh's grand son) [639-608 B.C.] was the arguably the second best king of  Judah

Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah - Life after death Cyrus would rebuild the temple

Those Jews born during the captivity comfort would be offered - life after death - Cyrus would rebuild the temple

Those Jews who escaped the captivity - if you do not believe you will not be established.

The Jews alive at Christ's birth - if you do not believe you will not be established.

To all alive at and after The death, burial and resurrection salvation offered -  if you do not believe you will not be established.

The church - because that day of Babylon came as prophesied came that day of the Tribulation will come - do the work

To the Jews today and born here after That Day is coming - if you do not believe you will not be established.

To the Jews today and born here after That Day is coming when those The LORD will fulfill all He promised to Abraham will be fulfilled in the New Heaven and New Earth -   if you do not believe you will not be established than and for eternity.

Prophesy is for those who believe!

I believe the Seven Year Tribulation is a direct result of Israel's choosing not to believe just as the 70 year captivity was a result of their disbelief.

I believe the church age is a sign to Israel to day the other sheep are serving me, when you get the next chance believe and be established.
